Fall Equinox at the Goldendale Observatory

We’ll explore the observatory's powerful telescopes, learning about stars, planets, and galaxies. Kids will engage in interactive stargazing sessions, fascinating presentations, and hands-on activities that make astronomy come alive.

We will learn about the surface features and inner workings of our local star, the Sun. This one-two hour long show includes some of the highest resolution and contrast live views of the Sun you will see at any public observatory or science center.

We will gather before the show for story and games based on the sky above us.

Location: Goldendale, WA

Not included: A WA State Parks Discover Pass is required to park on-site and is available for purchase at the facility. If you don’t have one - $10 day-pass.
